
Wax Melt Safety Guide
Our handcrafted botanical soy wax melts are designed to be enjoyed safely. Please follow the guidance below to get the very best fragrance experience from your Dorrington Hall Estate products.
General Safety
- Always use wax melts with a suitable electric or tea light wax warmer/burner.
- Never leave a burning wax warmer unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not ingest. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
Using a Tea Light Burner
- Only use 4-hour unscented tea lights in your burner.
- Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Ensure the burner is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, flammable materials, and soft furnishings.
- Allow the burner to cool completely before handling or moving.
Using an Electric Warmer
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your electric warmer.
- Do not leave plugged in and unattended for extended periods.
- Ensure the warmer is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Wax Disposal
- Allow wax to cool and solidify before disposal.
- Do not pour liquid wax down the drain.
- Once the fragrance has faded, allow the wax to cool, pop it out of the dish, and dispose of it in your household waste.
Storage
- Store wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep away from heat sources when not in use.
